Students and staff at Lift Sir Herbert Leon are celebrating today as young people receive their GCSE and vocational results.

‍

After years of hard work, students are seeing the results of their efforts and making plans for their next steps, whether that is A-levels, vocational or technical education. Teachers and staff are also celebrating alongside them as the school community comes together to mark this important moment.

‍

Throughout the year, the school has provided targeted after school revision sessions, online tutoring as well as a comprehensive rewards system, helping students feel prepared for their exams and confident about their future choices.

‍

Many students have now secured the grades they need to continue their studies through A levels, vocational courses, apprenticeships or other routes. Amongst Lift Sir Herbert Leon’s success stories:

Reginald Ejiofor achieved a grade 9, four grade 8s, two grade 7s and a grade 6. He intends to attend St Pauls to study A-levels.
Mohammed Armaan achieved a grade 9, three grade 8s, three grade 7s and a grade 6. He intends to attend Shenley Brook End sixth form to study A-levels.
Christopher Parra Arroyo achieved a grade 9, six grade 7s and a grade 6. He intends to attend Shenley Brook End sixth form to study A-levels
Ruby Bhullar achieved five grade 8s, one grade 7, two grade 6s, a grade five and a Level 2 Merit. She intends to attend Shenley Brook End sixth form to study A-levels
Rayyn Kabir achieved two grade 8s, three grade 7s, three grade 6s and a Level 2 Merit. He intends to attend Shenley Brook End sixth form to study A-levels

Principal at Lift Sir Herbert Leon, Damian McGeehin , said of the students’ success:

“Today is a real right of passage for our students and their families, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work they have put in and the results they have achieved. I would also like to thank our brilliant staff for the support and encouragement they have given our students. It has been a joy to see them celebrate today, and we look forward to seeing what they go on to do next.”
